Sogand Hasanzadeh is a dedicated researcher focusing on smart construction safety and building smart communities through innovative applications of cyber-human-physical systems, brain and body sensor networks, and AI/data sensing.

With an educational background including a PhD in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master's in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and various other certifications and degrees, Sogand Hasanzadeh is well-versed in the field of construction and engineering.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Purdue University, Sogand Hasanzadeh has previously held positions at esteemed institutions like Virginia Tech and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she has contributed significantly as an Instructor, Research Assistant, and Graduate Research Assistant.

Having worked in the industry as a Construction Manager, Architect, and in various other roles at consulting companies, Sogand Hasanzadeh brings a valuable blend of academic knowledge and practical experience to her research and teaching endeavors.
