I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Black Canadians: History, Presence, and Anti-Racist Futures from University of Alberta!
While Black History Month may end in February, the journey of learning and understanding continues. This course has deepened my knowledge of Black Canadian history and the ongoing challenges Black communities face.
I'm committed to using this knowledge to work towards a more equitable, inclusive, and anti-racist future for all. Let's continue to celebrate Black excellence year-round.

Honoured and humbled to receive the Leader in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award at the Bankers Awards!
This recognition underscores the steadfast dedication of our team at University Pension Plan Ontario to cultivate an inclusive environment where everyone is valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.
I am grateful to the 2024 EQ Bank | Equitable Bank Finance Awards, the Canadian Lenders Association, and the esteemed jury for this incredible honour. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to my colleagues, mentors and family for their unwavering support and encouragement.
This award recognizes past achievements and calls us to continue working towards a more just and equitable future for all.
P.S. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the ceremony due to vacation, but I'm deeply grateful to my former colleague and friend, Jonathan Nguyen, CFA, (whose firm Fig also won an award last night!), for the photo. P.P.S. Today is campaign day for the Moose Hide Campaign, an Indigenous-led grassroots movement dedicated to ending gender-based violence. I’m proud to wear my Moose Hide pin today, supporting this important cause. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gMaUXcfc
