Sooraj Chandran is a seasoned engineer and product specialist with a passion for web development. Hailing from Kerala, India, he currently holds the esteemed position of Head of Product and Engineering at Via, now a part of Justworks International. Sooraj's entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Carrom, a payroll and benefits management software for remote teams, which was later acquired by Oyster™. He is also a co-founder of Marketfox (YC W17) and has gained valuable engineering experience at store2be and Freshworks.

Sooraj Chandran champions remote work and is an avid traveler and photographer. He values kindness, fitness, continuous learning, adaptability, and personal growth.

His academic background boasts a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. Sooraj has lent his expertise to various renowned organizations, serving in key roles such as Head of Product and Engineering at Via.work, Product and Engineering - International at Justworks, and Product and Engineering - Strategic Projects at Oyster®. He has also contributed to the tech community as a Fellow at On Deck.

Sooraj's professional journey includes roles as the Founder and CEO of Carrom, Co-Founder of Marketfox, Front-End Engineer at Freshworks, and Associate Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. Prior to these roles, he honed his skills as a Web Developer through freelance projects.
