Sushma's expertise spans various areas such as product promotion, sustainable sourcing, influencer marketing, crisis communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

With experience in consumer marketing and corporate reputation, Sushma excels in integrating strategies like influencer and celebrity programming, national events, retail marketing, consumer communications, and executive positioning efforts.

As a senior media strategist and a national spokesperson for numerous brands, Sushma conducts media and presentation training and thrives in media relations.

Outside of her professional roles, Sushma is dedicated to LGBTQ+ equality and founded The Purple Pundit Project to promote inclusivity within the Hindu community.

She holds a BA with a double major in Communications and Psychology from McGill University and an MA in Corporate Communication from The City University of New York.

Throughout her career, she has held positions at Daily Harvest, The Chaat Company, Edelman, South Asians in Media, Marketing and Entertainment, Fleishman-Hillard, and Loews Cineplex Entertainment.
