Educationally, Taku has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Relations and Affairs from Waseda University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Economics from International Christian University.

Taku Yoshida has held various key positions in organizations such as being the Head of Delegation to Rwanda at the Japanese Red Cross Society, Program Coordinator at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and an Independent Consultant.

His professional background includes roles like Programme Coordinator for early recovery and development from disasters, Disaster Risk Reduction specialist, and Project Identification Expert in Disaster Risk Reduction and Environment.

Additionally, Taku has served as an Associate Expert at JICA and has contributed as a Researcher and Adviser at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan.
