Talmon Marco

There is no Planet B

Talmon Marco is an Israeli-American entrepreneur and technology executive, best known for founding multiple successful companies.1 He is currently the Chairman, Co-Founder, and CEO of H2Pro, Ltd., a climate-tech company focused on producing green hydrogen at scale.3

Marco's notable achievements include:

  1. Co-founding Viber, a cross-platform instant messaging and VoIP application, which he sold to Rakuten for $900 million in 2014.1

  2. Founding Juno, a ride-sharing app, which was acquired by Gett for $200 million in 2017.1

  3. Co-founding H2Pro in 2019, which has raised over $100 million from investors, including Bill Gates' Breakthrough Energy Ventures fund.3

H2Pro develops innovative technology for green hydrogen production, using a process called E-TAC that enables more efficient and cost-effective hydrogen production without greenhouse gas emissions.2 The company aims to produce hydrogen at $1 per kilogram by the end of this decade, significantly earlier than the UN's goal of 2050.

Marco's background includes serving as CIO for the Israeli Defense Forces Pikud Merkaz and holding a degree in Computer Science and Management from Tel-Aviv University.1 He has also co-founded other companies such as Expand Networks and iMesh earlier in his career.1

Under Marco's leadership, H2Pro has signed strategic agreements with major corporations, including a deal with Japanese giant Sumitomo estimated at $250 million until the end of the current decade.3 The company is set to start supplying hydrogen production facilities in 2025, with plans for utility-scale systems by that time.23
