Highlights
In honor of Juneteenth I'm reinvesting in my community through MAPSCorps, an organization that trains Black and brown youth to produce high quality data about community assets that everyone can use to improve the human condition. MAPSCorps provides meaningful PAID employment to our students helping them to gain the confidence and skills to pursue STEM, Health and Advocacy majors and careers after high school.
This Summer our data collection and research will focus on how communities and communities assets were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Across social media platforms today, MAPSCorps has raised over $5,000 of our goal of $10,000! Your contributions are greatly appreciated, and your continued support will enable our staff and mappers to work towards racial equity and equal access to diverse community assets.
To contribute to these causes, please head to our website mapscorps.org and utilize our various payment platforms @mapscorps on Venmo and Zelle and $mapscorps on Cashapp. Anything means everything to us!
