Your data is your competitive advantage. Are you making the right investments? It was great being able to share the new basics that #generativeAI introduces that every company needs at Data + AI 2024!

Some highlights from Databricks announcements:

  • Unstructured data's role is more important than ever. There's a new #dataSupplyChain needed to feed #LLMs like seen with MosaicML.
  • Databricks vision on AI/BI-- we call it #AI4BI -- means with #genAI there are less fixed dashboards and more dynamic queries and autogenerated visualizations
  • The keynote's "cookie demo" showed how with generative AI it's easier to use data for your own purposes including making it easier to create AI agents to do your bidding. This enables anyone with the superpowers of data & AI.
  • Gen AI applied to data is a huge opportunity highlighted with big improvements Databricks uses to optimize its own operations.

Best of all was getting to see many of our amazing data leaders and odd ducks! Amit Bansal Paul Barrett Dhiraj Bansal Shamim (Sam) Habib Wani Mukesh Chaudhary Craig Vaughan
