Highlights
This is a great read re end times from a Biblical perspective. And What we are to do about it.
Just read Full Time on the recommendation of a Faith Driven entrepreneur/ pastor.
I would be interested in a discussion re what the Bible tells us about work and money.
I was not very impressed with the very successful book Half Time written back in 1994. I thought it underappreciated work and entrepreneurship to place ministry on a pedestal.
I have been an active church member and elder for over 40 years so please don’t get me wrong.
When I ‘got saved’ thru faith in the redemptive work of Jesus. It was transformational. But I was led to think ministry is the pinnacle of working for the Kingdom.
God talked to me thru various ways to tell me I would never have ministry as my vocation.
I think understanding ‘work’ must be put into balance. Some are called to ministry and some to education, business, arts, etc.
We are all called to occupy every place we go for the glory of God.
When Jesus returns he will say well done good and faithful servant.
Not well done….. pastor or business owner or artist or carpenter.
Joshua 1:8-9
