Tobias Reichold is an accomplished individual with a strong academic background in Aerospace Engineering. He completed his MEng Aerospace Engineering degree at the University of Leicester in 2015 and proceeded to pursue a PhD in metrology at Loughborough University. Tobias's interest in metrology was sparked during his employment at Etalon AG, a company known for its precision engineering in metrology design. His current research focuses on 'High-speed micro 3D metrology,' with the goal of developing a cutting-edge sensor capable of accurately measuring surfaces and potentially internal 3D structures of transparent media in a single exposure, thereby revolutionizing conventional scanning methods. This project is in collaboration with Renishaw and is under the supervision of Dr. Pablo Ruiz and Prof Jonathan Huntley.
