I just spent a wonderful day and a half with members of the BAFT (Bankers Association for Finance and Trade) Europe Council discussing industry collaboration on financial crime, geopolitical impact on transaction banking, network management, diversity and talent development and preparations for the upcoming BAFT Europe Forum in January. In the midst of fierce competition, it’s very healthy to step back and see the commonality of our challenges and where collaboration is needed.
Thank you so much to Sandra Laelli and UBS for the phenomenal support hosting us as the Wolfsberg facility. This allowed for fellowship that enhanced the quality of our discussions. Thank you Karin Walchshofer and Jean-François Mazure for your leadership of the council.
