We were just getting started... Dream, Ivory, producer Gin$eng's side project, first single just hit 500K units. Not bad.
After 5+ years, I am leaving MNRK. It is time. In 2018, I took the opportunity with, then eOne Music, to help build their music publishing division. Excited, because I had already been label head, Head of A&R, run my own management company, worked for major and indie record labels, management companies and had a busy music & visual creative brand consultancy as well. Music publishing was the last piece of the puzzle, the remaining side to the music biz rubik. While it was not what I expected -- who expected Hasbro, Covid, and Blackstone? -- it was filled with amazing experiences that helped me grow as an executive and as a leader. The view ahead is clearer and more promising than ever - watch this space. Thanks to all the songwriters, producers, artists, managers, lawyers, A&Rs and most of all to my colleagues who had my back, you showed me what good teams are made of.
