Tom Zimberoff is a renowned photographer and author with a rich background in capturing iconic images of various subjects. He began his career touring with and photographing famous rock bands in the 70s before transitioning to photojournalism, where he contributed images to reputable agencies like Contact, Gamma-Liaison, and Sygma. Zimberoff's portfolio boasts portraits of celebrities, scholars, artists, scientists, business magnates, and politicians that have been widely published worldwide.
Zimberoff's impressive resume includes photographing two sitting American presidents for the covers of renowned magazines like Time and Fortune, as well as being the photographer behind PEOPLE magazine's inaugural cover. Notable subjects of his portraits range from Groucho Marx to John Lennon.

His permanent portrait exhibition 'Maestro!' showcasing symphony orchestra conductors is a highlight at the San Francisco Museum of Performance and Design.
After a hiatus, Zimberoff returned to photography to illustrate the best-selling book 'Art of the Chopper,' celebrating his enduring passion for custom motorcycles. He curated an exhibition of his personal photographs alongside handmade motorcycles, displayed at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and later at the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, FL, and Union Station in Kansas City.
