In 2021, Tony recognized a pivotal moment in the training landscape, driven by technological advancements such as 5G, the proliferation of smartphones acting as mobile gaming consoles, and the increasing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. This insight led him to establish Metagora, an innovative deep tech tool aimed at revolutionizing video game development for educational purposes. The company is focused on creating engaging training programs that yield high completion rates and assess complex skills, addressing existing gaps in the e-learning industry.
With a unique vision that sees video games not merely as entertainment but as powerful educational tools, Tony and his team aim to compete against traditional educational institutions rather than merely product-driven companies. As of September 2023, Metagora has successfully completed its research and development phase, securing partnerships with notable clients such as LVMH, Sony Music, and Amazon across six countries. Remarkably, the platform boasts an impressive 100% completion rate, a testament to its innovative approach to training.

Highlights
Last episode : Climate game becoming global
Following our partner's need to create a climate game, we ended up addressing a significant issue:
- the morose atmosphere that people experienced when learning about climate, which made them depressed and unfocused.
- Our partner wanted to ease this situation, and before Metagora, they created a multiple-choice quiz (MCQ) game.
Given that we only had 15 days to develop a game, we decided to experiment with a new approach to MCQs.
What happened next was remarkable: we discovered that creating this game was much easier than any previous projects. So, we decided to enhance the concept:
- The client can drag and drop any file (CSV, text, PDF, video, or audio), and we generate a set of 30 questions divided into three themes, all integrated into a learning management system.
This game is currently in beta with 70 users as of August and has already been sold to one client!
Interestingly, not in the climate industry: the drag-and-drop training game also solves a major issue in compliance training, sales representatives and so on.
How much would you pay for this game? Right now, we are pricing it at €10,000 per year, with additional costs per user after 100 people, plus fees for changing the batch of questions.
www.metagora.tech : new era of training We have launched our new website focusing on training : easy to integrate from game on a shelf to tailormade game.
Feel free to feedback on everything from the design to the value proposition.
