Victoria Bannon has accumulated 20 years of experience in the humanitarian sector with a diverse background in international law, policy, emergency operations, and community development. Her expertise includes humanitarian coordination, program management, monitoring and evaluation, disaster preparedness, climate change adaptation, health, WASH, shelter, migration, and settlement. Victoria has been actively involved in various international disaster responses such as the Indian Ocean Tsunami, Pakistan Earthquake, Myanmar Cyclone Nargis, and more. She played a pivotal role in establishing the IFRC's International Disaster Response Law (IDRL) programme, focusing on strengthening legal frameworks for disaster response. Victoria offers capacity building, coaching, and mentoring services in legal base and governance, strategic planning, leadership, project management, and stakeholder communications for organizations and individuals in the humanitarian and not-for-profit sector. Her educational background includes a Master of Laws specializing in International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights, and Disaster Law.
