Virgil Bistriceanu is the President of theSleepless, Inc., a consulting company he has led since June 2001. The firm specializes in management, software development and testing, information security, and training, with a focus on solving problems efficiently and avoiding unnecessary processes.1
He has extensive experience as a technology executive in both startups and large corporations. His previous roles include Co-founder and CTO of Sift Healthcare (2016-2019), CTO of Centro (2006-2009), Director at United Airlines (2002-2006), and CTO of MyPoints (1996-2001), where he co-founded MotivationNet, which later became MyPoints.com.1
In addition to his corporate roles, Bistriceanu has been an instructor at the Illinois Institute of Technology since 1994, teaching subjects such as computer architecture, information security, object-oriented programming, and operating systems.1
He holds an MSEE in Electronics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and pursued a Ph.D. program in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology.1
