Virginia Busch, hailing from St. Louis Missouri and from the renowned Busch family, has dedicated her career to wildlife conservation and animal welfare. With a significant background in conservation efforts, Virginia served as a Conservation Ambassador and President of the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund for nine years, focusing on expanding conservation programs and fostering partnerships for collaborative research projects. Her role also involved being a spokesperson for environmental initiatives at the parks. Since 2012, Virginia has been at the helm of the Endangered Wolf Center, first as Executive Director and now as Chief Executive Officer, leading initiatives to protect Mexican gray wolves, red wolves, and other canid species through managed breeding, reintroduction, and educational programs. She is a staunch advocate for preserving predators globally, recognizing their vital role in ecosystem health. Besides her work at the Endangered Wolf Center, Virginia is actively involved in various organizations, holding positions such as a National Council and board member for the World Wildlife Fund, a board member for Wild Earth Allies, the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, the Humane Society of Missouri, and the Saint Louis Zoo. Virginia's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in anthropology, with a specialization in animal behavior, from Washington University in St. Louis.
