Virginia A. Jacko, a blind visionary in a sighted world, is a seasoned financial executive whose success is attributed to her vocational rehabilitation at Miami Lighthouse. Under her leadership, Miami Lighthouse has seen remarkable growth in the number of clients and introduced various innovative programs benefiting the visually impaired. As the CEO since 2005, she has significantly expanded the organization's operating budget through strategic fundraising efforts. Her accomplishments include overseeing the construction of the Lighthouse Learning Center for Children™ and consistently obtaining top ratings for Miami Lighthouse from Charity Navigator. Virginia has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Dr. George L. Spelios Leadership Award and the President's Leadership Award from Lions Clubs International. She has also completed a program in Non-Profit Management from Harvard Business School. Virginia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago and a Master of Science from Purdue University's College of Health and Human Sciences.
