Wendy Luther is an internationally recognized leader in export development and international recruitment, known for her extensive experience in promoting Nova Scotia on a global scale. As the former President & CEO of EduNova, a collaborative association of education providers in Nova Scotia, she played a crucial role in advocating for Nova Scotia's knowledge economy through attracting and retaining international students. Wendy Luther's outstanding leadership at EduNova was acknowledged with the prestigious international PIEoneer Association of the Year Award in 2017. Prior to her role at EduNova, Wendy led export development initiatives at the Atlantic Canada World Trade Centre and Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI), organizing trade missions to over twenty countries and providing guidance to more than 300 Nova Scotian exporters to enhance their competitiveness in international markets. At NSBI, Wendy Luther was appointed as Nova Scotia's first Private Sector Liaison Officer (PSLO) by the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank, facilitating connections between entrepreneurs and institutions for opportunities supported by International Financial Institutions. Apart from her professional endeavors, Wendy Luther has been actively engaged in various boards and committees, including advisory roles in private sector companies and serving on the Long Range Planning Committee for the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.
