Wendy Luther is a distinguished leader in economic and export development, renowned for her contributions to promoting Nova Scotia on a global scale. As the President & CEO of Halifax Partnership since 2019, Wendy has been instrumental in the organization receiving multiple Excellence in Economic Development Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), including the prestigious Gold for Economic Development Organization of the Year in 2023.

Prior to her role at Halifax Partnership, Wendy served as the President & CEO of EduNova, where her efforts were pivotal in garnering the international PIEoneer Association of the Year Award in 2017. Throughout her career, Wendy has made significant impacts in export development, working with organizations such as the Atlantic Canada World Trade Centre, Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI), and as Nova Scotia's first Private Sector Liaison Officer (PSLO), appointed by the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank.

In addition to her professional roles, Wendy Luther has demonstrated a commitment to serving on various boards and committees, showcasing her expertise and leadership capabilities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from Saint Mary’s University, and a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation. Wendy's continuous pursuit of knowledge and excellence is evident through her achievements, including obtaining the ICD.D designation and being recognized as one of Atlantic Canada's 25 Most Powerful Women in Business in March 2023.
