Weston Anderson

Weston Anderson is a Ph.D. holder in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Columbia University in the City of New York and holds a B.S./M.S.E. in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.

Currently, Weston Anderson works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society within the Earth Institute at Columbia University.

With a strong interest in the dynamics of drought, agriculture, and food security, Weston's research focuses on utilizing a combination of remote sensing data, in-situ measurements, and model simulations to gain valuable insights.

Prior to his current position, Weston has gained experience as a Senior Research Assistant at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), a Risk Analyst at Risk Management Solutions, and as a Research Assistant in the Hydroclimate Research Group at Johns Hopkins University.
