William Lutz, a multifaceted professional with a diverse background, has held key roles in technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, and project management.

As the former Director of Commercialization at NJIT (NJII), he played a pivotal role in establishing various successful initiatives such as VentureLink, NJIT Venture Fund, and the studio fellowship program. Additionally, he was instrumental in the creation of the Merck Digital Sciences Studio and oversaw the Technology Transfer Office.

Before his tenure at NJIT, Will excelled as the CEO and co-founder of startups like ForceOwl and ConnectWith. He further enriched his experience as the Director of Growth at Unlimited Brewing Company, focusing on developing branded beer for experiential marketing.

A distinguished alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, Will holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. He also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the same institution.

Prior to his ventures in tech and business, Will served as a submarine watch officer in the US Navy, specializing in nuclear engineering operations management and project implementation. His service included time aboard the USS Miami (SSN 755), a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine.
