William Chang

USC Presidential Scholar • Provost Fellowship Student Researcher

William Chang is a diligent computer science student with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. He is a freshman student with extensive experience in applying his knowledge to academic studies, projects, and teaching endeavors.

William Chang has a strong background in programming with expertise in Python, C++, and Java. He has worked with AI/machine learning and TensorFlow for data analysis across various fields. His passion lies in impactful and meaningful software development with a focus on giving back to the community.

In addition to his academic pursuits, William Chang has participated in several educational programs, including the Beaver Works Summer Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, COSMOS at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco University High School.

William Chang has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as being an NSF and Provost Fellowship Student Researcher at the Integrated Media Systems Center and a former Course Producer for CSCI 102 and CSCI 104 at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. He has also been involved in research projects at the USC Data Science Lab and the Gladstone Institutes.

Furthermore, William Chang has experience as a Teaching Assistant for CS@SC Camps at USC Viterbi School of Engineering and has worked as a Junior Developer at perfeXia Health Technologies Ltd. He has also contributed to the U.S. Census Bureau and gained experience as a Bobarista at Super Cue Cafe.
