Highlights
Come work with me at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. This role will focus on developing editorial projects that highlight the work of GSD alumni in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and more.
I arrived at the brand-new M+ offices in Hong Kong nearly two years ago, fresh from a twenty-one day stint in hotel quarantine. Less than a year away from its grand opening, the museum was a hive of activity despite the pandemic. The Digital and Editorial Content team—an incredible group of editors, writers, video producers, and project managers—quickly brought me up to speed. With the rest of the curatorial department and M+ staff, we sprinted toward a goal that will always be a career highlight: the moment in November 2021 when we welcomed visitors to Asia's first global museum of visual culture.
Before M+ had a permanent home in our Herzog & de Meuron–designed building on Victoria Harbour, the museum had a virtual presence thanks to a visionary curatorial programme and efforts underway long before I arrived. From my desk, opening the museum and then sustaining its momentum through some challenging times meant launching the new M+ website, building in-gallery technologies, publishing videos and online magazine stories, producing wall labels, editing books, and growing an international social media following. 'Digital and Editorial Content' covers a lot of ground!
I'm heading back to the US next month and will look forward to watching the next phase of M+ from afar. That means there's an amazing position now available for the right editor, journalist, content strategist, digital producer, or creative director—particularly someone with experience working in Greater China. This is one of the best jobs in the field right now, mostly because it involves working with such a talented team.
