Wojciech Matusik is a distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the prestigious Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT. His illustrious career includes pivotal roles at leading organizations such as Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, Adobe Systems, and Disney Research Zurich.

Dr. Matusik's academic journey saw him delve into computer graphics, culminating in the successful completion of his PhD from MIT in 2003. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the esteemed University of California at Berkeley in 1997, followed by a Master of Science from MIT in 2001.

His groundbreaking contributions to the field have garnered significant recognition. In 2004, he was honored as one of the globe's top 100 young innovators by MIT's Technology Review Magazine. Subsequently, in 2009, he was bestowed with the esteemed Significant New Researcher Award by ACM Siggraph. Dr. Matusik's brilliance was further acknowledged in 2012 with the receipt of the DARPA Young Faculty Award, in addition to being appointed as a Sloan Research Fellow.
