Highlights
I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Amos Struck at the young age of 43. Amos was bright, innovated and unique voice in the visual stock media industry. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Amos' legacy in the stock media world will undoubtedly live on through the impact he made and the lives he touched. Rest in peace, Amos.
I grew up watching Winona Ryder films and now I get to see her use our technology for her latest film Beetlejuice.
This is a full-circle moment for me. BRIA AI had the privilege of having our technology as the enabler behind the latest Beetlejuice movie promo campaign.
Fans of the movie will now be able to see how they look like in the afterlife just as if they featured in the movie itself, capturing the iconic Beetlejuice style that first captivated audiences 35 years ago.
To achieve this we trained our text to image models from scratch only on data that was licensed to us for the project. Nothing was scraped from the internet and no artists or photographers images were used without their explicit permission.
This has also allowed for us to reward the artists behind this in a way that’s fair. Every time that a fan generates an image - artists and data owners get paid.
This is not just about marketing a movie – we're looking to push the boundaries of what's possible with visual generative AI in entertainment by creating immersive experiences and increasing fan engagement.
Kudos to the entire team for working hard on this.
