Yaron Sheffer is a respected technology leader with a diverse background in security, networking, telecom, VoIP, and CPU-level software.

With an extensive career as an R&D manager and individual contributor, Yaron has honed his expertise in network security, security standardization, industry-academic relations, and patents.

His educational background includes an MSc in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BA in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Yaron has held key positions in renowned organizations such as Intuit, where he served as Fellow Engineer in Data Protection, Distinguished Engineer in Applied Data Protection Research, Director of Security Product Development, and Group Manager in Security Technologies Product Development.

Additionally, he has contributed significantly to the Internet Engineering Task Force as the GNAP Working Group Co-Chair, SecEvents Working Group Co-Chair, and IPsecME Working Group Co-Chair.

Yaron's rich professional journey also includes roles such as CTO and Co-Founder at Porticor cloud security, Manager of standards and VPN technologies at Check Point, Director of Product Management at Personeta, and Group Leader in R&D at Radguard.

His experience extends to the academic realm as a Lecturer at The Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo and industry giants like Intel Corporation, where he served as Group Leader in Binary Translation.

Throughout his career, Yaron has actively engaged with customers, partners, and competitors to drive strategic initiatives and innovation within the technology landscape.
