Yueling Qin

Dr. Yueling Qin is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), specializing in high-resolution TEM, diffraction contrast, EFTEM, EDS, and related specimen preparations. With expertise in maintenance and operation of TEM, FIB, and SEM systems, she has more than eight years of experience in this field. Additionally, Dr. Qin has six years of experience in FIB, demonstrating proficiency in 3D reconstruction slicing, Ion-milling patterning (NPVE), and TEM specimen preparation. She has also conducted training for hundreds of users in TEM, FIB, and SEM.

Dr. Yueling Qin pursued her academic journey by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to that, she completed her Master's Degree in the same field at Wuhan University and her Bachelor's Degree in Solid State Physics, also from Wuhan University.

Throughout her career, Dr. Yueling Qin has held various positions in prestigious institutions. She served as a Research Assistant Professor and Senior Research Support Specialist at the Department of Physics, University at Buffalo. She also worked as a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, and as a Post-doctoral Researcher at Forschungszentrum Jülich and TU Delft.
