Zahra Hamirani, Esq., is a versatile professional with experience as a Lawyer, Educator, and Entrepreneur. Currently serving as the Chief Play Practitioner at LettucePlay.org, she is dedicated to promoting purposeful play. With over 12 years as a CEO in early years education, Zahra now focuses on advocating for the importance of play in life. Her legal expertise spans Venture Finance and M&A, having worked in New York, Singapore, and London. Additionally, Zahra has taught corporate law at the university level. Her interests include Intellectual Property, the financialization of the global economy, surveillance capitalism, and global wealth redistribution. An Entrepreneur and Angel investor, she founded award-winning nurseries like The Blossom Nursery and ELC's in Dubai, as well as BEE Academy for teacher training. Having sold her business to Babilou / TA Associates in 2017, Zahra took on the role of Chief Executive Officer Middle East, overseeing 10 centers with over 1500 seats. Specializing in Corporate Law, Zahra is an active member of the New York Bar Association since 2000, focusing on startups and investment. Her professional journey includes work on Wall Street in Ventures and Finance Law, as well as entrepreneurial and legal roles in the UK.
