Zoya Bylinskii is a Scientist, Strategist, and Team Builder with expertise in human perception, cognition, and A.I. (artificial intelligence). Her focus is on integrating human insights into automated tools, particularly in image processing, graphic design, and readability. Zoya excels in building interdisciplinary teams to tackle significant socio-technical challenges, encouraging comprehensive collaboration and innovative problem-solving approaches. She is passionate about developing ambitious technical strategies and driving them to fruition.

With a background in machine learning, computer vision, image processing, visualization, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, human perception, and user understanding, Zoya's educational journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an Honours B.Sc. in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Toronto. She also attended the University of Toronto Schools.

Zoya Bylinskii has held various positions in prestigious organizations, including being a Research Scientist at Adobe, an IACS Associate at Harvard University, a Creative Technologies Lab Research Intern at Adobe, a Graduate Teaching Assistant at MIT, a Research Assistant at MIT, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, and a Visiting Researcher at Boston University. In addition, she has also worked as a Summer Research Student at the University of Toronto and the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest, along with being a Mathematics Tutor at Qualified Tutors.
