Check out product.xyz for thousands of unbiased product buying guides with zero popups or irrelevant ads. You can also use it to generate new guides on-demand for free.
Similar to robotrecipes.co, I built this out of frustration with the terrible experience of trying to read buying guides that are littered with unrelated ads and auto-play videos. So far, I think unbiased, ad-free content generated by computers is a better experience than human generated content with a lot of ads; but it's still a work in progress so we'll see how the final product turns out.
Would you try a recipe made by a computer? If you've ever tried to find a recipe on the internet, you know that most recipe pages have frustrating popups and too many unrelated advertisements. It's nearly impossible to find the actual instructions or a simple list of ingredients. You have to scroll past a constantly changing and slowly loading page to get there, and once you're almost there another ad loads and moves the page content down.
I was tired of trying to use recipes with so many ads so I made robotrecipes.co as an experiment. It already has thousands of recipes with zero ads. And you can generate new recipes on the fly for free.
The good news is you can get creative (e.g. Meatball Cheesecake) 🤯! But I had a hard time generating realistic images that weren't sort of creepy; so for now just using illustrations. I'd be glad for your feedback and to find out if you'll choose to utilize software or endure the ads.
