Antonella Finis

Antonella Finis Gallardo is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in environmental engineering and management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Studies from Florida State University, complemented by a validation of an Environmental Engineering degree from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá. Furthermore, she pursued her Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis on Senior Management at Universidad del Istmo in Panama.

In her career, Antonella has held several key roles in prestigious organizations. She is currently serving as the Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Promotion Senior Officer at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). Prior to this, she was the Regional Climate Change Focal Point and the National Societies Development Senior Officer for Central America at IFRC. Additionally, she has worked as the Head of the International Affairs Office at the Ministry of Environment of Panama and as the Protected Areas & Wildlife National Director at the same ministry.

Antonella's expertise extends to project management, as evidenced by her role as the PMER Senior Officer for the Zika Operation in America at IFRC. She also has a background in Environmental Health programs, having served as the Environmental Health (WASH) Program Manager and Training Specialist at Peace Corps. Her experience in environmental conservation includes a position as the Pacific Environmental Assistant at Grupo Unidos por El Canal, S.A.
