Babatope Babalobi is an Urban Water Supply and Sanitation specialist with over 20 years of experience in project management, utility reforms, policy development, urban sanitation programming, and civil society advocacy for improved WASH service delivery.

He holds a Professional Doctorate in Health, a Doctorate in Health (Phase III) from the University of Bath, UK, a Masters of Environmental Management in Environmental Studies from the University of Lagos, and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Lagos.

Babalobi has held various key positions including Executive Director at Bread of Life Development Foundation, Team Leader at World Bank-3rd National Urban Water Sector Reform Project, WASH Specialist at The World Bank, Senior WASH Consultant at AECOM, and Lead Consultant at UNDP among others.

With a vast background in institutional development, technical capacity building, media for WASH, and policy and sector law review, Babalobi has contributed significantly to Sustainable Water and Sanitation in Africa (SUWASA), European Union Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme III, and numerous other organizations in the field of water supply and sanitation.

His experience spans across project coordination, consultancy, policy development, advocacy, and leadership roles in various national and international initiatives related to water supply, sanitation, and hygiene.

Babalobi's expertise in urban water management, sanitation programming, and civil society engagement has made him a sought-after professional in the water and sanitation sector regionally and globally.
