What a great ride has this week been on #dezoomcamp with DataTalksClub!

We covered SO much ground with #dbt core and #dbtCloud on #AnalyticsEngineering, and even more when you add the data visualization classes on #Metabase and #LookerStudio (formerly known as Google Data Studio).

I'm immensely grateful and proud to have joined this, I can't even express it in words! But I have to say, it felt so refreshing to get my hands on #dbt again!

I wish I had dedicated way more time to it to play around with some #dataquality tools that pair so well with DBT, though, like:

  • dbt-expectations (https://lnkd.in/dEnnRJ5W)
  • or Soda-Core with dbt (https://lnkd.in/dpK99nEZ)

So, today's the deadline for the Week3 Homework of DataTalksClub's about Data Warehouses, with #gcp #bigquery

I got to learn a lot about #BigQueryML, and out of curiosity, I was searching if there were similar offerings at #AWS and #Snowflake. It turns out, there's #SnowflakeML out there!

Still, I couldn't help but think: "sure, that must be handy for prototyping ML models quickly, and doing some A/B Tests.

But are there really use cases of companies using #BigQueryML or #SnowflakeML in production?

According to #ChatGPT, there seems to be the case. Color me surprised...
