Cecelia obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government, as well as English, from Stony Brook University. Among her most significant accomplishments is the founding of the New York Civil Liberties Union chapter on campus, a testament to her dedication to promoting and protecting individual rights.
Her leadership roles extend to serving as President of the College Democrats at Stony Brook, where she was instrumental in mobilizing students around pressing political issues. In addition, Cecelia held the position of Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta, the pre-law fraternity, where she mentored fellow students and organized activities aimed at fostering a greater interest in the legal profession.
