We put together a group of 100 B2B marketing CMOs at companies $50M - 500M+ for our first annual Marketing Leadership Retreat in Scottsdale in 2 weeks.
The two main topics are AI and some combination "We need to grow more, spend less, & prove marketing did it.”
I'm super excited for the event. After starting as an online community only, we made a big shift to events over the last two years.
We do Drive in September in Vermont (400 marketers). A bunch of local meet-ups around the U.S. and now this event for in-house marketing execs.
Spent all week trying to write my talk with AI. Gave it everything. Transcripts from a working session on it. Survey data. Attendee info. But it was an impossible task. Too much nuance in the timing, delivery, personal stories.
But who knows what will happen with the next model. I'm at some point I'll be able to just think it and slides will get generated.
