Important chart! Many VCs (and founders too) pivot their thesis overnight based on a whiff of what's hot. In India, most VC funds were solely dedicated to startups that were "building for bharat" and now that there's talk about how hard it is to achieve venture scale profitably in the India only market, they've taken a complete U-turn to look at "building for the world from India" -- Sad reality - neither do they understand the patience and grounds up thinking required to build for the domestic Indian market, and nor do they have any clue about building a global startup from India. Founders and VCs need to think deeply before shifting narratives -- the lack of depth shows.
Smart founders and LPs need to identify their partners carefully by looking out for a GP-Thesis fit! H/T Samir Kaji / Allocate, for the chart.
#ISRO is a truly Paradigm Shifting organization from India! First country ever to land on the moon's south pole & only the 4th nation ever to land on the moon!🚀 Was an honour to meet former ISRO chief, K Sivan who has been intricately involved in the Chandrayaan-3 mission! 🇮🇳🚀🌕
We need to nurture, celebrate, and cherish the most brilliant minds we have. They're the ones who will lead India to it's truest potential. Massive respect and so inspiring! 🙏
