If you listened to this week's #WifeMotherLeader podcast episode, I mentioned one of the career/life lessons I learned was to plan in pencil 📝.
Some of us find planning to be difficult because we feel as though the plans we set are permanent. We can't predict the future, so unexpected events can occur in life than what we had planned. When I struggled with planning, I realized that my plan is my own. I didn't allow any room for flexibility or for change (life!).
So now when I plan - figuratively, I “plan in pencil”. I hope this analogy and these tips help you be open to modify your plans for your life and your career.
