Ellie Kemp is a seasoned professional leading TWB's efforts to provide language support in humanitarian settings, fostering effective communication between crisis-affected individuals and aid organizations.

Ellie holds a Master of Science (MSc.Econ.) in Development Management with Distinction from the Centre for Development Studies at the University of Wales Swansea, and a BA (Hons) in Interpreting and Translating (French and Russian) with 1st class honours from Heriot-Watt University.

With a rich organizational background, Ellie has held key positions such as Head of Research, Evidence and Advocacy at CLEAR Global, and previous roles at prestigious organizations including Translators without Borders, Oxfam, and Mission East across various countries and strategic roles.

Her diverse roles include heading crisis response, policy advising in Somalia and DR Congo, advocacy strategy in Sierra Leone, country program management, and project coordination in Tajikistan, Mongolia, and Albania.

Ellie's extensive experience equips her to make significant contributions to the humanitarian sector through research, evidence-based advocacy, crisis response, and strategic communication.

She remains committed to bridging the gap between those in need during crises and the organizations dedicated to supporting them.
