Prop L will help generate meaningful revenue for San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) that will prevent Muni service cuts and expand Muni service, especially to parks, libraries, and schools, by increasing route frequency, expanding route, and/or adding new routes.
This is only one of the first steps that San Francisco must take to be a city that prioritizes transit and enables a future that is "people-first, climate-resilient and economically vibrant" – but it is a step in the right direction.

I'm looking forward to attending the United States Conference of Mayors in Kansas City this week! Cities are our greatest asset for driving positive change and enhancing the quality of life for residents. They are living laboratories where innovative public policies are born and tested.
