    Isata Yansaneh is a seasoned brand and design strategist with a strong background in research, community building, and advisory roles. She excels in applying structure to complex problems, deriving creative insights, and implementing strategic solutions for brands and cultural institutions.

    With over a decade of experience, Isata is a proponent of the human-centered design approach, integrating her expertise in design thinking and Economics into the realms of marketing, advertising, and experiential experiences.

    Her professional journey includes pivotal roles at Time Inc. (now Meredith) and most recently at Condé Nast, where she served as the Strategy Director, contributing significantly to the establishment of strategic practices for CNX, the company's in-house creative and experiential agency. Notable achievements include founding The Women's Network at Condé Nast, the organization's first employee resources group.

    Rooted in her passion for utilizing design as a tool for addressing societal issues and fostering brand communities, Isata advocates for the cultivation of meaningful connections between brands and their audiences. She underscores the importance of intentionality and insight in nurturing enduring relationships that drive mutual growth and development.

    Isata holds a Master of Science in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Spelman College.

    Currently, she serves as the Founder & Principal of Acts of Light, LLC. Her previous roles include Director of Strategy and Accounts at Condé Nast, a fellowship at XRC Labs, and various positions at Time Inc., Synapse, Daymon Worldwide, GIANT magazine, and State Street.
