Jarret Leaman, a proud member of Magnetawan First Nation in southern Ontario, is a prominent figure in the field of Indigenous education, economic development, and technology. He is dedicated to fostering leadership within the Indigenous community.

As a celebrated national Indigenous leader in Canada, Jarret has been honored with the Sovereign's Medal of Honour by the Governor General of Canada and acknowledged as one of Huffington Post's Top 3 Indigenous Millennials in the country.

Jarret serves as the Co-Founder and Board Chair of the Centre for Indigenous Innovation and Technology, a non-profit organization focused on enhancing Indigenous participation in the technology sector and advancing innovation with an Indigenous perspective.

His educational background includes a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources and a Minor in Indigenous Studies from Trent University.

Throughout his career, Jarret has been involved in various notable roles, such as a Professor at Centennial College, Founder of The Centre for Indigenous Innovation and Technology, and Alumni of the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Program.

Jarret has also held positions including Senior Administrative Officer at Aboriginal Institutes Consortium, Executive Director at Aboriginal Professional Association of Canada, and DiverseCity Fellow at CivicAction, showcasing his diverse expertise and leadership qualities in the Indigenous community.
