Jessica Van Son is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. She pursued VCE at Avila College, a Master's degree in Climate Change at The Australian National University, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a focus on French at La Trobe Melbourne.

Throughout her career, Jessica has held various impactful roles in different organizations. Currently, she serves as an Advisor for Regional Policy and Practice/Secretariat at the Asia Pacific Migration Network (APMN) within the Australian Red Cross. Previously, she was in leadership positions at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) as a Senior Regional Migration and Displacement Officer and acting as the Secretariat for the Asia Pacific Migration Network of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies. Jessica also gained experience as a Project Officer, Administrator, and in Stakeholder Engagement at the Australian Red Cross.

Prior to her humanitarian and migration-focused roles, Jessica worked as a Parks Surveyor at Integrated Open Space Services and as a Program Manager at The Reach Foundation.

With her extensive experience in migration, displacement, stakeholder engagement, and project management, Jessica Van Son is a dedicated professional making significant contributions to humanitarian causes and regional policy in the Asia Pacific region.
