Jonas Winther

Jonas Winther is a versatile ethnologist with strong skills in ethnographic fieldwork, cultural analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He is particularly interested in change and intervention projects, focusing on creating meaningful transformations by generating, integrating, and operationalizing various forms of knowledge. Jonas Winther studied European Ethnology at the University of Copenhagen and holds a BA in European Ethnology from the same institution. He also attended Frederiksberg Gymnasium for his education. Throughout his career, Jonas Winther has held various roles in different organizations, including positions such as Assistant Professor at the University College of Copenhagen, Analysis and Development Consultant as a freelancer, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Anthropology at the University of Copenhagen, Consultant at EXTRA/ORDINARY, Project Assistant at FAN OUT No. 4 Design and Fashion Exhibition, Scientific Assistant at the Copenhagen Centre for Health Research in the Humanities (CoRe), Ph.D. student at the University of Copenhagen, Instructor at the University of Copenhagen, Teacher at the Municipality of Copenhagen, and Office Assistant at Amager and Hvidovre Hospital.
