Leigh Stefanik

Leigh Stefanik is an international development and humanitarian response professional with 12 years of experience in gender-based violence, gender equality, and social norms.

Leigh has a strong academic background, holding a Master of Arts degree from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.

Leigh has worked in various roles at organizations such as CARE, where she served as a Senior Gender Advisor, Gender-Based Violence Program Advisor, Senior Program Officer for Gender-Based Violence, and Gender Intern.

In addition to her work at CARE, Leigh has also been an Independent Consultant, an Independent Researcher and Intern at UNFPA, a Micro-Finance Research Officer at The Kuyasa Fund, and a Research Assistant at Cornell University.

Leigh's expertise lies in program development, research, monitoring and evaluation, gender analysis, practical application of social norms theory, communication, facilitation, training, and knowledge management.
