Marjadi is a research fellow and marine scientist who completed her Ph.D. in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in spring 2023.12 She is currently working as a CINAR Postdoctoral Fellow with the NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center and the School of Marine Science & Technology at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.1

Her research focuses on:

  1. The impact of offshore wind installation on fishing operations
  2. Climate change effects on anadromous river herring migration patterns and population dynamics
  3. Broader ecosystem and global food system implications of these biological changes

Marjadi's academic background includes:

  • Ph.D. in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from UMass-Amherst (2023)
  • M.S. in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from UMass-Amherst (2016)
