Mung Chiang is an accomplished individual currently serving as the Executive Vice President, John A. Edwardson Dean of the College of Engineering, and Roscoe H. George Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University.

Before joining Purdue University, Mung Chiang held the prestigious position of the Arthur LeGrand Doty Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University.

Known for his groundbreaking research in communication networks, Mung Chiang has been recognized with numerous awards including the 2013 Alan T. Waterman Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the IEEE Kiyo Tomiyasu Technical Achievement Award.
