Last week I was unfortunately let go from Lyft on week 2 of maternity leave. I've grown up with the company, working at Lyft on and off for the past 7 years in more roles than I can count. It was my first "real" job after college, was part of my move to New York 5 years ago, was there for me when I moved back to SoCal during the pandemic, and was my constant throughout my pregnancy.
With a newborn at home, I'm coming to terms that my Lyft chapter is over, but I'm excited to see what the future brings. I'm not ready to jump into the interview game quite yet, but I wanted to connect with my network and let y'all know I'm on the market!
