Over the past 2 weeks I have enjoyed watching sports that I normally wouldn’t. Learning about new sports like BMX which really caught my imagination with their races and how physical and dangerous they can be and enjoying other events like the water polo 🤽♀️.
Whilst the #olympics are over there is still inspiration to be taken from those that competed into our own careers 🏆
The early mornings and late nights, the sacrifices these Olympians make to improve their performance, the small adjustments to technique that make a big difference come the Olympics and other competitions.
This commitment along with the setbacks that Olympians face such as injuries and disappointment in competitions can be inspiration for us all, whether it be in #jobhunting or #businessdevelopment to learn from rejections or companies saying no, to improve our own technique and to stay focused on our goal, for an Olympian that maybe a medal but for us that could be a job or a sale.🥇

Over the past week we have seen around the Globe 🌎 markets falling back 📉 with stocks connected to an #ai story being those that have seen the biggest decreases.
Over the past year we have heard stories how AI will #change our lives with a lot of positive excitement and huge investment 💲 from companies in this space, it seemed at times that if a listed company mentioned AI then their share price jumped 👆🏻Up.
There is no doubt AI will have positive impacts but what I have seen across multiple platforms including here on Linkedin is about a big flaw in AI - Us as individuals and the #customerexperience - I actually have noticed increased complaints and people being vocal towards companies that have implemented AI tools for dealing with their customers. This can erode loyalty and quickly.
Businesses have been quick to implement AI tools but many of us might not be ready to embrace speaking to a chatbot and there are times when speaking to a human provides comfort. There is also that trust we often receive from speaking to another human and we don't yet have for AI. This journey for AI winning over our hearts 💕 and minds 🧠 is going to take some time and needs to be central for all companies when they think about their stakeholders both internally and also externally. It's going to be a challenge but those companies that can crack this will differentiate themselves with their customers and employees ⭐️
