That feeling of bringing an idea to life: Touching down in NY for #TechWeek from Buenos Aires and hosting an event for over 120 people who believe in Latin American talent.

Pride: Amidst a lineup of over 700 events, we were the sole representatives covering the Tech Fusion between Latin American Talent and the US Tech Ecosystem.

I'm surprised because all week, I felt the interest and enthusiasm in the #USA about what's happening in Latin America: #tech innovation, #fundraising, #talent.

Far from the typical, dry #networking that often haunts these industry events, there was a real spirit of camaraderie and community amongst peers who are eager to make an impact in an increasingly complex digital world,' wrote user Adam Jones in his substack, who was one of the attendees at the event.

I believe we achieved what we set out to do.

It's about much more than saving costs and aligning time zones... it's about making innovative ideas a reality with the best tech talent in the world, and that talent is Latin American. And with warmth and salsa as ingredients, of course.

Thanks to Marina Jackman, Paul Gonzalez, Wade Morris, Adam Jones, Michelle K., Victoria K., Fernando A. Soto, Rafael Tihanyi, Andrew Burgert, Jessica Olivera, Chris Moreno, Alejandra Molina, Marissa Lowman and everyone for amazing conversations and made this possible!

One year ago at #NYCTechWeek, I met Wade Morris, Chief Brand Strategist at Alt-Black. We hit it off immediately, discovering shared goals and a vision about the potential of #LATAM talent in the tech industry.

We talked monthly since then and started creating an amazing partnership.

Fast forward, to #NYTechWeek 2024, we came out with the idea of hosting an event together.

I'm excited about the event we will be co-hosting with Paul Gonzalez and the team on June 7th, during NYC #TechWeek, we present "Tech Fusion: Leveraging Latin American Talent in the US Tech Ecosystem."
